I also spent a glorious morning at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ferrybuildingmarketplace.com\/farmers_market.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ferry Plaza<\/a> in San Francisco &#8212; the gold standard at this point &#8212; and to two different markets run by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crescentcityfarmersmarket.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Crescent City<\/a> organization in New Orleans.<br \/>\nOf course I&#8217;ve spent time at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grownyc.org\/unionsquaregreenmarket\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Union Square<\/a> in New York &#8212; the flagship market in our adopted hometown is amazing.<br \/>\nThis weekend we&#8217;re road tripping up to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montpelierfarmersmarket.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Capital City<\/a> market in Montpelier, Vt.<br \/>\nSome others on my map include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2009\/07\/13\/top-10-farmers-markets-in_n_230440.html?slidenumber=9#slide_image\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University District in Seattle<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eatingwell.com\/food_news_origins\/seasonal_local\/farmers_markets\/americas_top_farmers_markets_dane_county_farmers_ma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dane County market in Madison, Wisc.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eatingwell.com\/food_news_origins\/seasonal_local\/farmers_markets\/americas_top_farmers_markets_five_more_favorites\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boulder County market in Boulder, Colo.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.santafefarmersmarket.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Santa Fe Farmers Market, N.M.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What do you think the best farmers markets in the country are?
