I'm going to share my gratitude on Facebook and Twitter this month. Care to join me?<\/figcaption><\/figure>
\nThere is so much negativity and hostility online. It’s one of my least favorite things about the social Web. People feel empowered to spew venom that I don’t think they would ever share face to face.
\nThis month, I’m going to counter the “epic fail”<\/a> culture by infusing gratitude into my social media streams.
\nGratitude journals are a wonderful, private way to reflect on all the ways I’m blessed each day. But I want to turn some of that outward and share some of the reasons I’m grateful.

If you tweet your thanks this month, would you use the (admittedly long) hashtag #monthofthanksgiving?<\/figcaption><\/figure>
\nMaybe it will remind other people of how they are grateful. Maybe it will encourage some to join us in a Month of Thanksgiving. Maybe it will do nothing but toss my little pebble of positivity into the ocean.
