My post earlier this week, “Is it true you can’t work harder than your clients?” got people talking — but since some of that conversation happened over on Facebook, I thought I’d copy it into the blog so more people can benefit from the commenters’ wisdom.
- Julia Collins, owner of Fitness Chick personal training service, said: I want my clients to know that i am willing to work really hard…often MUCH harder than they to show them it can be done.
- John Lofy, editor of alumni publication Michigan Today, wrote: Nothing in my professional life sucked more than the realization I was working harder to grade my UM students’ papers than they were working to write them. …and yeah, I’ve washed dishes and done lots of manual labor too.
H.T. Riekels, manager at Mediterrano restaurant, and Diane Sieg, author of the article that inspired my post, both commented on the original post, too.
What about you? Anything to contribute to the discussion?
