How do you know when a prospect is ready to be asked and\/or a current donor asked again?<\/p>\n<p>The Greater New Orleans Foundation\u2019s Organizational Effectiveness initiative is excited to bring a new and exciting workshop to our region: <strong><em>Building Donor Relationships So People Are Ready To Be Asked<\/em><\/strong> presented by nationally recognized fundraising expert, <a href=\"http:\/\/getfullyfunded.com\/\">Sandy Rees<\/a> with <a href=\"http:\/\/getfullyfunded.com\">Get Fully Funded<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Designed for staff and volunteers charged with fund development, this workshop will teach participants the proven steps in creating authentic relationships with your donors so that they are ready to be asked. Additionally, participants will learn:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How to create donor loyalty so people give year after year.<\/li>\n<li>How to create and implement a <em>Donor Nurture Plan.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>How to engage your board in relationship building activities.<\/li>\n<li>How to prepare and execute an ask for a gift<em>. <\/em><\/li>\n<li>Best practices in donor communications with a focus on campaigns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The workshop is on <strong>Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 9 am to 12 pm at the Greater New Orleans Foundation <\/strong>located at 919 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA. Teams of two, including a board member, are strongly encouraged to maximize organizational learning.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop is free; however, registration is required. Seating is limited and registration will be received on a first-come-first serve basis. <em>This session is currently full. I\u2019ve raised millions through grants, events, direct mail, and all the other strategies you\u2019re probably using. I know what it\u2019s like to wrangle your volunteer board, trying to get them involved, and juggle dozens of projects and fundraising activities. It wasn\u2019t easy for me and I often felt like the Lone Ranger.<\/p>\n<p>I got my CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) certification in 2003, fulfilling a personal\/professional goal to show my commitment to the profession. As a coach\/consultant, I love seeing my clients \u201cget it\u201d \u2013 those moments when the light bulb comes on and I can tell they see how to make their success a reality.
