{"id":6994,"date":"2016-05-31T13:52:08","date_gmt":"2016-05-31T18:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gnof.org\/?p=6994"},"modified":"2016-06-29T09:39:12","modified_gmt":"2016-06-29T14:39:12","slug":"fundraising-with-individual-donors-june-28-2016-northshore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.communify.me\/gnof\/fundraising-with-individual-donors-june-28-2016-northshore\/","title":{"rendered":"Fundraising from Individual Donors &#8211; June 28, 2016 (Northshore)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Greater New Orleans Foundation <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.communify.me\/gnof\/oe\/\">Organizational Effectiveness<\/a> Initiative is hosting a workshop on <strong>Fundraising from Individual Donors<\/strong> on the Northshore. \u00a0The workshop is on Tuesday, June 28, 8:30 am-12:30 pm at Lakeview Regional Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p>Designed for staff and volunteers with responsibility for fund development, we strongly encourage organizational teams comprised of a staff member and a board member participate in the\u00a0<em>Fundraising from Individual Donors<\/em> workshop together. This session will teach participants how to develop an individual donor program and moves management strategy. Participants will learn how to:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>identify prospects that are a good match with your organization<\/li>\n<li>cultivate relationships with prospects and donors<\/li>\n<li>create a strategy to strategically move donors into other giving opportunities<\/li>\n<li>identify how each of your board members can best engage in individual donor development, and where your board has room to grow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants will be asked to complete five donor profiles as a pre-workshop assignment. The donor profile will be provided.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fundraising from\u00a0Individual Donors<\/strong><br \/>\nTuesday, June 28, 2016<br \/>\n8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.<br \/>\nLakeview Regional Medical Center<br \/>\nPelican Room<br \/>\n95 Judge Tanner Blvd, Covington, LA 70433<\/p>\n<p>The workshop is free; however, registration is required: <a href=\"https:\/\/oeworkshops.kimbia.com\/fundinddonors62816\" target=\"_blank\">click here to register<\/a>.
