Information was\u00a0also be provided on the difference between exempt and nonexempt status under FLSA.\u00a0 This workshop aimed to help organizations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reduce their\u00a0risk of being held liable in employee management situations<\/li>\n<li>Create a workplace environment that treats employees both fairly and legally<\/li>\n<li>Develop or enhance their employee handbook<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><em>*This workshop is for informational purposes only.\u00a0 The foundation staff and trainers are not lawyers and are not providing legal advice.
