They\u2019re trying to create a critical mass of entrepreneurs tackling these issues from multiple angles in order to move the needle forward on tough topics like obesity, childhood education, and getting more people in Louisiana insured.<\/p>\n<p>This current class has been engaged in a 10-month fellowship, from September to June. Propeller provides technical assistance for each fellowship, matches each business with a consultant, and holds monthly meetings around a different topic to help these young businesses thrive.<\/p>\n<p>Julia Stewart, director of Programs at Propeller, guides us through the 9th meeting with this season\u2019s fellows where we meet entrepreneurs from Community Plates, Brothers\u00a0Empowered 2 Teach, The Cookbook Project, and Million Dollar Scholar.<\/p>\n<p><em>Written by Eve Abrams for the Community IMPACT Series and produced by WWNO in partnership with the Greater New Orleans Foundation.
