Partnering<\/strong> with the Urban Institute to offer workshops that provide local stakeholders with national best practices on surface water management.<\/p>\n

Forming<\/strong> a successful workforce pilot training program with Ochsner Health System and Delgado Community College resulting in jobs for 50 people in the healthcare field, with more jobs and more jobseekers in the pipeline.<\/p>\n

Releasing<\/strong> a report through the Stand Up for Our Children initiative that confirms how ready (or not) our children are for kindergarten.<\/p>\n

Collaborating<\/strong> with Mayor Landrieu and the City of New Orleans on NOLA for Life to identify nonprofits working to reduce the city’s murder rate.<\/p>\n

Creating<\/strong> plans for a new Center for Philanthropy that will provide a much-needed nonprofit training center and new offices for the Greater New Orleans Foundation on historic Lee Circle.<\/p>\n
