Dr. St. Charles currently serves as President and CEO at St. Augustine High School.<\/p>\n

\u201cKenneth St. Charles is an exceptional philanthropic leader who has built strong teams and a track record of successful fundraising at Loyola University New Orleans, the United Negro College Fund, Xavier University of Louisiana, Randolph College (formerly Randolph-Macon Woman’s College), and currently at his beloved alma mater, St. Augustine High School,\u201d said\u00a0Andy Kopplin, President and CEO of the Greater New Orleans Foundation<\/strong>.\u00a0\u201cAs we continue our strategic trajectory to grow the Foundation\u2019s assets, impact, and leadership in our region, we couldn\u2019t be more thrilled to welcome him to our team as Vice President for Philanthropy where he will be implementing our growth strategy and leading our development and donor relations team as we approach our centennial in 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Greater New Orleans Foundation is a unique and vital fundraising and philanthropic powerhouse that positively impacts thousands of local citizens and nonprofit institutions throughout its 13-parish Greater New Orleans region,\u201d Dr.\u00a0St. Charles said<\/strong>. \u201cNew Orleans is comprised of individuals and organizations that have a history of overcoming seemingly insurmountable challenges and obstacles and I see my role at the Greater New Orleans Foundation as pivotal in our city\u2019s quest for excellence. This is an exciting time for me personally and professionally and I am elated to join President and CEO Andy Kopplin and the entire Greater New Orleans Foundation team on this journey to build the philanthropic resources needed to accelerate the exciting civic projects and inspiring ideas that make our region special.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his current role, Dr. St. Charles leads an organization comprised of 504 students, 70 faculty\/staff members, and 18 Board members. During Dr. St. Charles\u2019 tenure at St. Augustine, he led the fundraising efforts that resulted in the school raising $11 million while creating 15 new permanent endowed funds and 72 annual donor-named funds. The school and its lauded music program were recently featured on the nationally acclaimed 60 Minutes news program.<\/p>\n

Before his brief hiatus from home,\u00a0as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement of Randolph College in Lynchburg, VA., Dr. St. Charles served as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Xavier University of Louisiana where he raised over $91.5 million for the institution. Dr. St. Charles holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of New Orleans, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans,\u00a0and a Bachelor\u2019s of Business Administration from Loyola University New Orleans.<\/p>\n
