Jeff Schiffman

Jeff comes to the Greater New Orleans Foundation after serving as Director of Admission at Tulane University. There, he led the storytelling and marketing efforts that have dramatically increased the number of undergraduate applicants to the university. Jeff worked to substantially increase the diversity of Tulane’s matriculating students from 15 percent to 35 percent people of color during his tenure as director. He is a two time Tulane graduate as well, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from the A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2005 and his Master’s of Liberal Arts in 2016 from the School of Professional Advancement.

Jeff  knows the local nonprofit world well. He works closely with two of GNOF’s grantees, the Posse Foundation and Youth Run NOLA. Most recently, he’s been an active volunteer with NOLA Ready, serving as a key volunteer in vaccine distribution in the greater New Orleans region.

In his free time, Jeff is always looking for ways to to lead an active lifestyle including teaching spin classes at the Tulane gym or walking his dog in Audubon Park.
