Sherry Leventhal

Board Member

Sherry Marcus Leventhal graduated from Isidore Newman School in 1970. She received her BA degree from Northwestern University and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated Order of the Coif from Tulane Law School in 1977.

Until she relocated to Boston in 1997, Mrs. Leventhal practiced law at Lemle & Kelleher in New Orleans. During that time, she served on the board of Metairie Park Country Day School and chaired the board of trustees of Children’s Bureau of New Orleans.

Mrs. Leventhal is currently on the Board of Governors of Isidore Newman School. She served for 12 years on the Tulane Board of Administrators and is now an emeritus trustee. She is a past chair of Neighborhood House Charter School in Boston and a past chair of the Boston University Medical School Dean’s Advisory Board. She and her husband Alan are on the development team for the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences in New Orleans and live part-time in New Orleans.
